The Cradle’s Maternity Unit incorporates 2 LDR’s –Labour, Delivery and Recovery Room and State of the art operation theatres and 24 Luxury Rooms across the two postnatal floors, 4 Suites. In addition, An NICU- Neonatal intensive care in case your baby develops complications and premature babies in caring for your baby. Unmatched by other private units. Once your baby is born we offer evidence based advice on feeding and caring for your newborn, postnatal exercises and paediatric services such as newborn screening tests, hearing tests, in addition to daily visits from a paediatrician.

Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) Rooms:

For the first time in Bangalore, The Cradle will provide the facility of private birthing suites or an all-in-one LDR Room. You will not find the LDR room in any regular hospital or nursing home. The LDR room provides our mothers-to-be a home-like atmosphere you can even bring along your favourite music and we will play it for you during your labour so that it relaxes you. And it acts as an integrated labour, delivery and recovery facility. Thanks to the LDR, the expectant mother is no longer required to be moved from one place to another and can experience an uninterrupted birth process by remaining in the LDR room for the duration of the mother's labor, delivery, and recovery period.

Designed to provide the feel of home, it has all the safety of a modern hospital. Each LDR is furnished with an advanced multipurpose bed and all the equipment necessary for a safe and comfortable delivery  but it is hidden from view ,only when it is necessary it is brought out so as not to get the woman tensed .

We also have the ultra luxury bathroom adjoining to the LDR which is designed in pink polka dots keeping the woman in mind, wherein she can have a shower with  specially  designed shower jets to soothe her aches and pains and relax her.

The Cradle will house two Labour-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) suites, each designed to accommodate an average length of stay of 12 hours. They will operate on a 24-hour basis.
