Leading, international Consultant Obstetricians work together with The Cradle Hospital to provide patients with the highest standard of maternity care. All Consultant Obstetricians are able to provide general obstetric care, including normal deliveries, Caesarean sections and induction of labour.
A Consultant Obstetrician will undertake and advise on all of your antenatal care. They will also arrange your booking with the hospital for the delivery of your baby. Many of the Consultant Obstetricians hold their antenatal consultation appointments in the hospital's Outpatients Department. Patients of Consultant Obstetricians who are based at the hospital benefit from other facilities, such as antenatal classes, ultrasound scans and fetal medicine tests, being available on site.

Consultant Obstetricians are independent practitioners and, as such, they undergo a rigorous process to gain admitting privileges to the hospital. This involves evaluating their background, experience and qualifications and ensuring they maintain their high standard of practice.
