We are taking our daughter to Cradle after seven days she arrived in this world. We were not at all happy in the other hospital, but Cradle changed our thoughts about medical services available in India. Cradle is highly comparable with any US hospital, and it is sometimes better. Best thing we like the professional and courteous attitude keeping aside the world class treatment, not only for the supporting staff but for the doctors also. We were alone in Bangalore with no senior person at home, Dr Kishore and his staffs made our life very comfortable and they are open to any questions. A special note is for their callback services, whenever we have called Cradle for doctor callback services, we have received a callback within acceptable timeline.
We wish Cradle to grow further and definitely it is the best facility available in Bangalore. |

Pregnancy can be a daunting experience for a first time mom. The varied emotions and physical changes that occur during this time are possibly the best and worst.
In today’s context, expecting parents not only want to provide the best for their forthcoming child but also want to make the process of its birth a pleasant and memorable experience for themselves. Therefore choosing the right hospital that would enhance this life changing process is an important decision.
I think that in choosing ‘The Cradle’ to have my first child, I made an excellent choice and would like to share my positive experience with every woman who would like to remember childbirth fondly and not as the ordeal that it is cut out to be. Of course, no one can dispute the fact that it is singularly the most physical pain that a woman must endure, but it is also one that brings the most joy. And so it is important to be in a place that recognizes this fact, where the expectant mother feels secure in the capable hands of good doctors while at the same time be comfortable both pre and post delivery.
Most often, hospitals are associated with disease and fear and their conventional appearance and smell make them all the more frightening and unpleasant to visit. The first thing that one feels on entering ‘The Cradle’ is the warmth that engulfs you. From the smiling faces at the reception, to the comfortable couches that are arranged all around the lobby for waiting and even the consultation rooms assure you that you have indeed come to the right place. Suddenly waiting for your turn at the doctor’s doesn’t seem so exhausting anymore.
When I realized that I was in labour, on advice of my ob/gyn, I checked myself into ‘The Cradle’. From the beginning the process was smooth and systematic and within five minutes of having arrived, I was taken up to my room. One hardly notices the décor of a hospital room, but I vividly remember mine. I was put up in the ‘Magnolia suite’. The pleasant and tasteful interiors were done in pastel shades, which were complemented by colour-coordinated linen in bright colours. The room along with its attached toilet had everything one would require for a short stay comparable to any five star hotel. It also had another smaller room with its own toilet for family who wanted to stay on. All in all a fabulous room in which labour for all its pain would be no hardship.
During the twelve hours of my labour, the nurses and doctors who came to check on my progress were all very comforting and encouraging, always smiling and helpful coordinating with my ob/gyn at all times, promptly administering medication and checking to see if I was comfortable in every possible way.
After the birth of our son, the nurses helped me get acquainted with him, teaching me how to hold him, nurse him and care for him. Lest I should forget to feed him in my exhaustion there would be nurses who would monitor his feed times and remind me when it was time to feed him again.
The day after, a dietician /nutritionist informed me of how I should program my eating giving due nutritional consideration for lactation and my speedy recovery. A physiotherapist who instructed me on how to sit, walk and carry out daily chores in the right postures so as to minimize my discomfort post delivery and in future. My ob/gyn came to see me everyday, checking to see if I was holding up well as did the pediatrician who checked out all twenty fingers and toes of my baby and assured me that he was doing fine. Even the birth certificate formalities were taken care of by the organization, as were the neonatal tests. I felt overwhelmed at the amount of care and consideration and all the extra measures that were taken on account of the new mother and baby.
What moved me the most during my stay at ‘The Cradle’ was when they sent up a photographer to take pictures of my newborn. That picture is probably my most prized possession today. The newness of my baby caught in print forever.
‘The Cradle’ also gave us a complimentary gift set of baby clothes that I’ m still using and every time I do, I am pleasantly reminded of my baby’s birthplace.
I am eternally grateful to ‘The Cradle’ and its entire staff for taking such good care of us and giving us the gift of a beautiful memory.
I would especially like to thank Rohit, for arranging everything and putting us up in such style, Dr. Saraswathi and Dr. Femitha who to me are the equivalents of God on that fateful day, All the nurses and staff who cared for me and my baby, catering to our every need ever smiling, Kavitha, for being such a dear and lastly Fotomurthy, for the beautiful picture that I will treasure always. The Cradle does indeed deliver joy. |

You have the best medics ever all under one roof starting with my Dr Kini and list is endless. The pedics are at cradle take care of our baby so well and they handle mothers too,who like me are on panic rocket just waiting to launch when any small thing happens to the baby. Its surprising to see both sides of the doctors Nandini and Adarsh both parents and baby are at ease with them.The resident doctor Savenay (name I have not got right) just so patiently handled us and the babys health over phone at late night, made us so relaxed and took charge of the situation,it was as if whole of craldle was at me home.
Even the other staff,right from the 'Annapurna Devi' thats the nick name we have for the ditecian who in the lovely hospital stay after dilevery took care of my food and updated me small inputs...its so nice to have a family at the cradle.
Generally they say baby is a bundle of joy but when its at cradle its bundles of joy!We recall that day when our baby was just 3 days old and with no elders at home we found our daughter very cranky and We were just so jumbled up what to do and what not?
But I remember Dr Kishor's words he just so cooly told that no cradle baby is cranky just see OUR cradle baby will be fine.And just Relax!Miracle words and today our baby is just all masti and and spreads smiles to ane and all.The day Dr Kini went to Cralde and he took our joy to the sky by giving us a home more than a clinic at the cradle where we got our baby,the sweet memories are so endless.
